Michael Rudzena
Minister to the Ethos Community
Michael is the minister to the Ethos community and responsible for bringing clarity and definition to our community. He has been married for over 4 years to Kyndi and is the father of two children, Jack (22 months) and Lucy (5 months). Michael medicates regularly on ESPN, Memphis Tiger basketball, Chicago Cubs baseball, and Chicago Bears football. He is a part-time student at DTS and has been in full-time ministry for 6 years.
Beau Berman
Associate Minister to the Ethos Community
Beau is the associate minister to the Ethos community and is responsible for overseeing the "putting into practice" of our vision. He has been married for over 6 years to Shannon. Beau is a conversationalist extrodanaire who never shoots the breeze and always asks to win. He is the father of two children, Brodie (4) and Sutton (2) with one on the way. He is a student at DTS where he is working on comleting his ThM degree having already completed his MA in Christian Education. In between degrees Beau was a college pastor in Memphis, TN.
Susan Ervien
Ethos Ministry Assistant
Susan is a grad of Azusa Pacific University in California and is "the glue" that holds our Ethos ministry together. She has a passion for connecting young adults to the gospel and helps us carry out the vision we have for our Ethos community. Many have mistaken her for Pam from "The Office" and her trademark sign off on the phone is well known around the southern United States.
Mike Reading
Associate Minister to College Students
Mike is the college guy on the Ethos team and oversees campus ministry at SMU as well as our general college ministry. Mike has been married to his wife Amber for over 2 years and has a daughter, Ella, who is almost 1. Having graduated with a BS in Biblical Studies from Ouachita Baptist University Mike is currently working on his Th.M. at Dallas Seminary. Mike's quick wit and sarcasm coupled with his Buzz Lightyear profile make him a man loved by all. When he's not hanging out with Ella and Amber he can be found in the gym and enjoys it if you approach him with the line, "you must work out..."
Ben Cunningham
Ethos Intern
BC is a senior at Wheaton College in IL and is majoring in Biblical Studies. Not only is he extremely smart but he is also a talented singer/songwriter who, along with his brother, will change the face of the earth with his music. Ben has a mean left handed stroke in foosball and can always be identfied as the guy with cuffed jeans and a toothpick in his ear.
