California Bay Area Trip
June 22nd-28th
A group from our ethos community is traveling to the Bay area to work with partners in two areas:
1) Children's Sports Camp
A young married couple from our church is living in a multi-cultural, impoverished area of the Bay and is seeking to put the gospel on display and build relationships with their neighbors as they start house churches in a virtually unchurched area. We will assist this couple with a sports camp for the children of the community focusing on soccer and cheerleading. We hope that our group can help connect new families to the house church through this meeting of a practical need in the community.
2) Oakland Church Plant Assistance
A church plant in Jack London Square is getting underway and our team will be helping do demographic study, survey work, and other services to assist the pastor in this important task.
